As a ministry for orphans, our work revolves around the most vulnerable children in the Philippines.
Stories abound in how these precious children become orphaned. The widespread poverty, frequent natural disasters and inter-country conflict make the whole nation vulnerable, most especially the children. Many estimate the number of orphans to be around 2% of the entire population.
What We Are Doing To Help
Safe Shelter
“There’s no place like home.”
What is quite common for most people may often be a desperate need for others, especially those most susceptible.
Whether for a new-born baby or a child coming off the streets, a safe and stable place to live is essential; which is why part of our mission is the construction of family-style facilities.
Life Necessities
We provide each child with:
- Nutritious meals and snacks every day. (From time to time we hold a “Feeding Frenzy Day” where kids from the church and community are welcome to come eat with the kids in the orphanage.
- Clothing suitable for gwapo boys, maganda girls and ever-so-cute babies.
- An excellent education that prepares them for a bright future.
- Quality healthcare that ensures they get regular wellness check-ups as well as any urgent care and medications they may need.
Love
Experts say that once children’s physical needs are met, and they feel safe, they need to feel love and belonging to thrive.
Our facilities are staffed with loving and caring Christian men and women who ensure each child is shown and feels tender and guiding love.
Faith
Proverbs 22:6
“Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”
While the kids are with us, we provide them with godly instruction. Each child is taught the Gospel of Jesus Christ and what it means to be followers of the Savior. For a more in-depth look at what we believe, please check out our Statement of Beliefs.
